What is DSC?

How to get DSC ?

To obtain a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for a government e-portal, follow these steps:

1. Choose a Certifying Authority (CA)

Select a licensed Certifying Authority that issues DSCs. Some popular CAs in India include:

2. Get From DSC Vendors

You can search online for authorized DSC vendors or check government websites for a list of providers.

How to map DSC with your portals?

Firstly, you need to log in and insert the DSC that you want to map with your eProcurement portal.

Then, click on the 'Signing Certificate' to enroll your DSC.

Select the DSC you want to map. Sometimes, you may see other names associated with your DSC.

But you should select the DSC that was issued by your DSC vendor.

If you see this pop-up, it means you have successfully mapped your DSC with your portal.

Now, click the 'OK' button, and you will be directed to this page.

What should you do if your DSC is lost or destroyed?

If your dsc has been lost or destroyed by any reason then you should to deactivate your dsc from your portal for map new dsc

What does "please insert correct DSC which is mapped for user" mean?

• You may encounter this problem if you have not installed the driver properly.
• You have inserted a new DSC, but your portal is still mapped to the old DSC. In this case, you need to deactivate the old DSC and map the new DSC.
• Your DSC PIN has been blocked. After entering the wrong PIN more times than allowed, your DSC will be blocked.

In all these cases, you should deactivate your DSC.
